MLA Awards Parker Prize to Rolf J. Goebel
The Modern Language Association of America recently announced the winner of the 41st annual William Riley Parker Prize for an Outstanding Article Published in PMLA, the association's journal of literary scholarship. The author of the winning essay is Rolf J. Goebel, professor of German and Foreign Languages and Literatures at UAH. His article, "Berlin's Architectural Citations: Reconstruction, Simulation, and the Problem of Historical Authenticity" appeared in the October 2003 issue of PMLA. Goebel will received a $500 monetary award and a certificate containing the text of the selection committee's citation for his winning essay. - 1/21/2005

Graduate management class being offered in Romania
